(Detemined Dreamer June 08) What is the accommodation like? Our accomodation is in Katelios which thankfully still remains an unspoilt village with several tavernas lining the beach front. Accommodation is low key basic rooms, clean and airy and near the sea. Further up the village there are several pool bars with newer accommodation - so the choice is yours. There are no hotels in this village, night life is mainly centred around the pool bars and tavernas - although in the next village there are a couple of late night small disco's for night bod's ~ it is still however pretty uncommercial....visit before it changes...it is starting to! Sometimes it is cheaper to book a package and get a discount from us ~ before you book give us a ring & we'll do our best to get you a great deal. Where is Kefalonia & Katelios in particular? Kefalonia is the largest Ionian Greek Island with a very small population! It is just across from Zkynthos and down from Corfu - it does not have the commercial infrastructure of those islands so still remains blissfully rural with a certain Greek charm - some say Cephalonians are mad but after a while we all blend in nicely!! Katelios is still a small fishing village on the South Coast - gorgeous and peaceful but it is changing a bit. A marina is being build and new apartments are beginning to show their heads... it is still lovely, friendly and laid back at the moment but don't leave it too long before you visit..... When are the Dare to Dream Retreats being held? This year we are holding just two. The first is Tuesday 25th May and the second is Tuesday 21st September for 6 days ~ (7th and last day is your own to mope about or extend your holiday!!) You can come before and start on the Tues or come on the Tues and start that night. You can also extend your stay by another week ~ speak to us 0791 560 5961 before you book. We can also help with flights. How does it all work? Our retreats are for 6 days starting on Tues. Each day has a morning workshop ~ time out for lunch ~ free afternoon and a gather together before dinner to see how your day has been and share any insights or challenges. It is a lovely time to have a glass of some olives and get to know each other a little better before we head off for dinner. After dinner you can boogie at the local disco, wander along the beach, listen to the sea, chill out at a taverna or do your own thing ~ the choice is always yours. During your stay a Greek Night is planned which is always great fun, a Happy Days Island Tour (Detta frequently has to stop the car she is laughing so much) which is full day with lunch included, and there is also a gorgeous evening spent on the beach either having a barbque or getting the local lads at the giros bar to drop off salad & souvalaki - midnight swims are not unheard of - neither are foot-rubs and massages provided by Detta! During your stay you will also be recovering and rediscovering your deepest dreams, your dearest wishes and your long held hopes. You will get support from Detta and the rest of gang and come home with some great ideas, a plan, rested and rejuiced ready to make your dreams more real!
